Welcome to Women’s Ministry!
Our goal is to inspire women of all ages to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to guide women in our church to love God with their whole heart; to love their sisters in Christ with a pure, strong love; & to zealously serve the church and the world around them with a sweet, self-sacrificing spirit. We seek to encourage and support women by providing the following opportunities:
- Spiritual Growth (Study of God's Word/Prayer)
- Fellowship (investing in genuine relationships)
- Service/Outreach for Christ
We would love to have you join us....and be encouraged in Jesus Christ!

Women's Ministry 2018 Kickoff Brunch
DATE: Sat., Oct. 6, 2018
TIME: 9:30-11:30 am
PLACE: Knollwood Community Church, Fellowship Center, 10000 Coffer Woods Rd., Burke, VA
SPEAKER: Brenda Solomon, Co-Founder of Jill’s House
Brenda became a mother of a child with special needs in 1992 when Jill was born and her life was forever changed. She knows first-hand the struggles families like hers face. After seeing the difference respite care made in the lives of their family, Lon and Brenda wanted to ensure that other families had the same opportunity to receive a much-needed break. This desire led to the founding of Jill’s House. Brenda will share with us her inspirational & encouraging journey through the difficult challenges of raising a special needs child.
In addition to her involvement with Jill’s House, Brenda keeps busy as a Bible study leader, pastor’s wife to Lon Solomon (former Sr. Pastor of McLean Bible Church in Tysons, VA.), grandmother and mother to Jill + 3 adult sons. She also holds a degree in Christian Education.
