In the “Resurrection Chapter” of the Bible – First Corinthians 15 – The Apostle Paul addresses the issue of the nature of the resurrection. He indicates what kind of a resurrection it will be (just like that of Jesus) and when it will take place. He then concludes with an ethical, moral application to the promise of resurrection: “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord….” Our lives, our activities, our labors all matter to God; they matter because of the resurrection of Jesus Messiah and our future resurrection in the likeness of his.
