The Apostles’ Creed - “I Believe in the Holy Ghost…”
- Mark Petersburg
- April 28, 2019
The Creed continues by stating belief in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic Church, and the Communion of Saints. These can be grouped under the banner of “The Reign of God in the Church.” The Holy Spirit plays such a major role in the establishment of the Church – universal (catholic) and local. God places us by the Spirit into the body of Christ. That has implications for identification with the all-inclusive Church as well as with a local assembly of believers who experience shared worship, shared fellowship, shared responsibilities, and shared ministry.
